Documentation

Everything you need to deploy and operate applications on Zivara.

Getting started

  1. Create an account and verify your email.
  2. Choose a plan on the Subscribe page and pay securely with Stripe.
  3. Open Deploy Application, pick an environment and a template, choose a size, and launch.
  4. When the app reports Running (health-verified), open its public HTTPS URL.

Environments, apps and jobs

An environment (for example production or staging) groups apps and gives them a private network. An app is a running container created from an approved template. An app job is a command that runs in the app’s own configuration — once, or on a cron schedule.

Variables, secrets and files

Variables and secrets can be set on an environment (shared by all its apps) or on a single app. Precedence, lowest to highest: environment variables → environment secrets → app variables → app secrets. Secrets are encrypted at rest and never shown again after saving. Files are mounted read-only at a path you choose. After changing configuration, press Redeploy to apply it; your volumes and URL are kept.

Volumes

Add persistent volumes to an app with a size and a mount path. Each volume has a hard disk quota and counts against your plan’s storage. Data survives restarts and redeploys. Deleting a volume deletes its data and requires confirmation.

Networking and URLs

Web apps get a public address like https://myapp-a1b2c3.apps.your-domain with automatic HTTPS. Inside an environment, apps reach each other by name: http://api.production:3000. Environments are isolated from one another. Databases are private: reachable only from apps in the same environment.

Jobs

Create a job with a command such as ["sh","-c","python manage.py migrate"]. It runs in a fresh, sandboxed container using your app’s variables, secrets, volumes and mounts, with a timeout. Scheduled jobs (Professional) use standard five-field cron in UTC, at most every five minutes.

API

Create an API key under API Keys and send it as a bearer token:

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer zk_..." https://app.your-domain/api/containers
curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Bearer zk_..." -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"imageSlug":"nginx","name":"hello","profile":"small"}' \
  https://app.your-domain/api/containers

Plans and billing

Plans are flat monthly subscriptions. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply once your usage fits the smaller plan. If a payment fails you have a grace period (shown in Billing) during which running apps are unaffected; afterwards apps are stopped but your data is kept for a retention period and you are notified before anything is deleted. Cancelling keeps access until the end of the paid period.

Limits and fair use

Each plan defines the number of containers, total CPU and memory, storage and monthly bandwidth. Limits are enforced by the platform. Abuse (spam, scanning, attacks, illegal content) leads to suspension.
